Dear programmers,

The parameter that affects most to the idle speed of the engine is the air inlet temperature.
Coolant temperature does not affect so much, when the air inlet temp is low idle is high and viceversa.
And that requires to make adjustments constantly in idle control table, because currently there is no correction possibility based on air temp. So basically I adjust the idle to keep the engine running on the hotter days with the A/C on. But when the weather is cold with the denser air and the A/C off the idle speed is annoyingly high.

I would like to ask you if it is possible to have a test firmware where you give us the possibility to enter the idle valve setpoint based on IAT instead of CLT.

Here you have firmware. It is based on 1.5.3.17. I diden't change version number but now Idle ref tab works by IAT. File is ZIPed, you need unzip hex file to flash it into DEC.

It will require some adjustment when the weather temperature changes, but so far so good.
And once it is set for different weather temperatures I don't think it will need more tunning.
